Although we were literally only here a few hours, we were very impressed by this park. It has concrete pads and well manicured, large sites. It is a very, very nice park. Verizon wireless aircard worked great. The only thing that would make it nicer would be to have paved roads, but the gravel roads were well graded and smooth. We did not try the Wi-Fi.

As noted in the previous review, this park is a little run-down. They keep the area around the office up well, but the sites are poorly maintained and the roads are in pretty bad shape. Also, in spite of what the office staff might tell you, Verizon service is very poor and Verizon air card is completely unreliable. Cable TV is a separate fee and Wi-Fi is $4/day. For a "city park" like this, they would do well to upgrade sites, give cable and Wi-Fi free and charge a few dollars more. If the drive from Polson had not had a lot of road construction, we would have simply stayed up there.

I guess this is the right place to review the condo park that is attached to the KOA, but they really are 2 separate parks. We rented a space at the condo park, not the KOA. This is truly a first class RV park. Granted it is very new and the landscaping is still filling in in places, but it is great, nevertheless. The people were very friendly, the sites are beautiful with a distant view of the lake. Verizon broadband air card worked beautifully. Wi-Fi was good, too. Cable had 60 or so channels - just a first class park!

We had a couple of days to kill between two scheduled stops and this place just happened to be half-way, so we stayed here. It is a very nice park, with lots of trees, grass and shade. Unfortunately, the Buffalo area itself does not have much to recommend it, so we would probably not stop here again.

This was a better-than-average KOA park. We had a great "deluxe" site with concrete patio, free Wi-Fi and swing, which made the stay even better. As previously stated, there is a lot to do in the park, if you can stay out of Yellowstone long enough to enjoy it. Only complaints - Verizon signal was very poor and the aircard did not work at all. Wi-Fi was strong, but bandwidth deteriorated if too many people were on.

This place is great and you can't beat it for the price. We had no trouble finding it, but the one-way streets do make it a bit of an effort to get here. The people were extremely nice and the park was well-staffed and well maintained. The sites are a little close together, but we have come to expect that from an in-town park. Our only complaint is that the WiFi requires a fee and not many parks are still requiring that.

Location, Location, Location! This park has a great location! Very near the north entrance to the park, and as one posting noted, if you get one of the premium sites on the upper level, you will have a great view. On the other hand, even the premium sites are very close together and the non-premium ones are so close it looked like some people could barely get their slides out. With such demand for sites in and around the Yellowstone area, you can hardly blame them for "packing" the sites in. Other than that, the park was nice enough, but nothing spectacular. Verizon wireless card worked fine. We did not try the wifi.

This was our second time to stay here and both visits have been great. This year, it was earlier in the year and the grass hadn't come in good, but other than that everything was very nice and well-maintained. Having the casino within walking distance was a real plus.

Great Park. Very well kept, very quiet. Great base camp for lots of sightseeing. Near to Portland, wine country, even did a day trip to the Columbia River Gorge and Mt Hood. Would stay here again.

This was a very typical KOA - great location, great potential, but just doesn't live up to that potential. Landscaping was terrible, grass at our site was not mowed. It took us almost an hour to get our rig level. The "paved" site we were on had paper thin asphalt with lots of sunken areas and lots of deep marks from prior visitor's jacks. The wifi was weak at our site. The people were very nice and you can't beat it for location, so we would stay here again, if we had to.

Very nice park. Very remote and a bit rustic, but beautiful area. Our campsite overlooked the lake. The only problem was wi-fi was spotty and Verizon air card was not broadband, so internet access was not good.

We loved this park! The people were very warm and friendly, the park was small, but well-kept and very clean. We did not use the restrooms, but the laundry room was very clean. The pet area was small, but well maintained. We used their dog sitting service, which was a blessing for us, as we took the day trip to Victoria. We also did a day trip to downtown Seattle via the ferry and it was so much easier than trying to drive there.

This campground is beautiful. Nicely landscaped with large, level sites. We ran our fan to drown out the I-5 noise, so it really didn't bother us. Not very pet-friendly. We would not stay here for more than a day or two because of that. Long walk up to the pet area that is very poorly maintained. Rating of '8' is mostly based on that. Wi-fi was spotty.

We, too, were reluctant to stay because of comments about the smell and got the same story - the smell is from the lake. Unlike the other posting, we DID smell a slight chemical smell at times, which did not smell like the lake at all. However, it was not really a big deal and not a reason to avoid this nice park. The staff was very helpful, our only complaint is that the sites are pretty small and close together. We were NOT offered a choice of sites when we checked in or we would have taken one of the larger, longer sites for more money.

We loved this park. Although small, it was well kept and well landscaped. The people were very friendly and very accepting of our dogs.

This was certainly a rally park, not a resort, but we were still very happy here. Yes, the sites are a little small (over 40 feet has a special area, I think), but they were nice enough to move us to a site we requested that was an end site with extra grass and extra room. The people were very friendly and especially very dog friendly. When you come, you simply must 'do' LazyDays. They leave all the RVs on the lots open and you can just wander through and dream! As someone else stated, the sales people don't bug you, but will answer all your questions. One comment on the free meals. We ate them a few times and found them to be simple, yet filling. Certainly not as much as we would have gotten at a restaurant, but all we needed! And they were FREE!
